The Whistler Mountain Bike Park is considered the No. 1 lift accessed downhill bike park in the world, and for good reason. Boasting more terrain than any other bike park in North America with 4,900 vertical feet of lift-serviced descending trails.

Whistler Mountain Bike Park now features five distinct zones with over 76 km of trail for you to explore:

  • Peak Zone is a mind blowing experience with some of the world’s best riding. Top of the World trail is the pinnacle of alpine riding. It will take you through Whistler’s insane alpine environment on tacky smooth single track along the 1,507 m (4,946 ft) of vertical drop serviced by lifts. You’ll find something for all levels.
  • Fitzsimmons Zone is the original Whistler Mountain Bike Park zone with all 5 difficulty levels including the infamous A-Line, and all 5 skill centres. It features a trail to suit every rider whether it’s your first time or looking to take things to the next level. Situated on the lower slope from Whistler village up to the Olympic station at 1,000 m (3,300 ft), here is the core energy of Whistler, spreading out from the central trails around the lifts, deep into the forests on either side as far as Crank it Up and Golden Triangle.
  • Garbanzo Zone is 5 times bigger than every other sectors put together, adding another 2,700 of vertical feet. Higher, steeper and more rugged than its predecessor. It may well be the perfect height – not too high to hit the thin air of the high alpine but high enough to keep summer temperatures cool and comfortable. From the tangled roots of single track on In Deep or Goat’s Gully to the berms and jumps of Freight Train this zone is sure to thrill every intermediate to advanced rider.
  • Creek Zone The latest chapter in the on-going development of the Whistler Mountain Bike Park begins with the opening of the Creekside Gondola to mountain bikers. Recommended for advanced and expert riders only, the Creekside Gondola provides access to the Fitz and Garbanzo Zones via Expressway, Lower Freight Train, and No Joke.
  • Air Dome is an 8,400 square foot covered indoor bike training facility with a huge foam pit and wooden ramps. It offers jump progression from 2′ high jump ramps to 26′ quarter pipes with options for riders of all abilities.

Whatever your skills or adrenaline needs, you will find what you’re looking for!

Note : For the ultimate experience, add Top of the World to your trip. Located up Peak Chair, you must have your bike park pass and pay an additional $18 + tx per person per descent. (ref. Summer 2015).
